General information:
The studies include knowledge and practical skills in the field of innovative solutions at the intersection of health and digital techniques, allowing graduates to use specific techniques and tools to analyze European healthcare scenarios in terms of competitiveness and sustainable development. Thanks to this, graduates will be able to recognize and create new healthcare business models, implement, manage and evaluate new technologies (health technology assessment), as well as take into account framework conditions related to digital healthcare (law, ethics, public health, governance, etc.). The studies include classes mainly in remote form (e-learning). Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to get to know each other and cooperate during the Summer School, which will take place in Poland.
Organization and form of classes:
The studies last 4 semesters. The form of classes includes lectures, seminars, exercises and own work (divided in accordance with the study program).

Study recipients:
Persons who have completed at least first-cycle studies, in particular in medical, technical, economic or social fields, interested in innovations in health care, may be admitted to the qualification procedure.
Recruitment conditions for studies:
A person may be admitted to postgraduate studies if:
- completed studies in the field indicated above (section: Addressees of studies);
- submitted the following documents:
1. a signed application for admission to postgraduate studies, generated from the electronic recruitment system, containing the candidate's personal data,
2. diploma of graduation or its copy,
3. CV containing the following information: professional career history, knowledge of foreign languages, list of possible publications, conference speeches, training and courses completed related to the subject of postgraduate studies
Criteria for awarding points in the recruitment procedure:*
A candidate applying for admission to studies is assessed according to: professional knowledge and documented achievements:
1) Diploma grade (grade x 1 up to max 5 points)
2) Publications and other scientific achievements, for each item of achievement (in the sense of publication, conference presentation) – (1 point for each activity, not more than 5 points)
3) Participation in conferences/trainings related to the subject of studies (1 point for each activity, no more than 5 points)
4) Professional internship (max 5 points) Points will be awarded on the basis of documents submitted on time on the platform: studiapodyplomowe.umed.pl

Conditions for completing studies, including the number of ECTS points necessary to complete studies:
– passing all classes included in the study program and obtaining 120 ECTS points;
– submission and defense of the final thesis prepared in semester IV.
