After completing the internship, you have 3 months to submit an application to the Minister of Health for a decision to recognize the postgraduate internship as completed (in its entirety).

Documents necessary to submit an application:

1.- an application,

2.- a diploma confirming completion of studies in medicine or medicine and dentistry OR a certificate of completion of master's studies in medicine or medicine and dentistry,

3.- the internship card

4.- the certificate of completion of internship

Ref. 1 – you may use the template attached below

Please make sure that the contact details in the application are correct and completed on the computer (only your signature should be handwritten).

Ref. 2 – you may use your diploma, BUT remember, the one you provide with the application will not get back to you automatically. So you can use e.g. a notarially certified copy. OR you may use the certificate of completion your studies, which you can obtain by sending e-mail to the following address: deans.office@umed.lodz.pl

Ref. 3 & 4 – The internship card you submit will be signed by authorized person and ready for pick up together with the certificate of completion of the internship at the CKP office.

The decision from the Ministry of Health will include information on the recognition by the Minister of Health of the postgraduate internship completed in the Republic of Poland (in its entirety). You will receive it in electronic form to the e-mail address provided in the application.

However, if you need additional authentication, you can apply for the above-mentioned Apostile decision.

Dear graduates enrolled for the internship!

Due to the numerous questions raised about the 3rd edition of the internship, we would like highlight the whole procedure for you.

Below you will find a list of necessary steps and the outlook of the entire process:

1. Complete the survey (already checked).
2. Register and buy insurance for the new academic year 2023/2024 – not yet available (the insurance policy is valid during the academic year, therefore it will be available in September only).
3. Provide a proof of insurance to oliwia.tadeusiak@umed.lodz.pl
4. Receive a Referral for a Medical Examination to confirm that there are no contraindications for an internship in the field of Practical Training after Medical Studies in English.
5. Proceed with the Referral to a physician (the list of applicable medical centres is available on our website), subject to the medical examinations, and obtain a medical certificate.
6. Delivering the necessary documents to the CKP Office (in person or via email to the following address oliwia.tadeusiak@umed.lodz.pl):

– a medical certificate confirming that there are no contraindications for an internship

– MUL graduation diploma

6. Fill and sign Practical Training Agreement at the CKP Office.
7. Pay the Internship Fee in the amount of 30.000 zł to the account number that will be indicated in the agreement (within 21 days of signing the contract at the latest).
8. Deliver the confirmation of payment to the CKP Office personally or via email
9. Obtain the Internship Referral and Internship Card from the CKP Office
10. Apply to the individual units, by providing the Internship Referral and the Internship Card, together with the coordinator set the start dates for partial internships conducted in a two-person group – this first meeting is actually starting the whole process of participating in an internship.

Additional Information:

It would be the best if you form the groups of two independently.

Internships should start no later than one month after receiving an Internship Referral.

On the referral, you should receive an entry from the coordinator with the date and stamp of the unit.

We do not require of you to make payments before signing the contract.

Please note, the contract cannot be signed prior to obtaining a certificate that there are no contraindications to take part in the internship.

If you need confirmation of admission to the internship, we can prepare an appropriate certificate. But due to the holiday season, certificates will not be issued prior to August.

The 3rd edition of the Practical Training is intended for graduates of 2022 and 2023 (due to the statutory requirement to start an internship within 2 years of obtaining the diploma).

Drodzy Stażyści!

Po odbyciu stażu mają Państwo 3 miesiące na złożenie wniosku do Ministra Zdrowia o wydanie decyzji o uznaniu stażu podyplomowego za odbyty (w całości).

Dokumenty niezbędne do złożenia wniosku:

1.- wniosek,

2.- dyplom potwierdzający ukończenie studiów na kierunku lekarskim lub lekarsko-dentystycznym LUB zaświadczenie o ukończeniu studiów magisterskich na kierunku lekarskim lub lekarsko-dentystycznym,

3.- karta stażu

4.- zaświadczenie o odbyciu stażu

Dodatkowe informacje:

Ad. 1 – można skorzystać z wzoru wniosku załączonego poniżej

(plik: Wniosek do MZ-Application).

Prosimy o upewnienie się, że dane kontaktowe we wniosku są prawidłowe i uzupełnione na komputerze (jedynie podpis powinien być własnoręczny).

Ad. 2 – można wykorzystać swój dyplom, prosimy jednak pamiętać, że egzemplarz dyplomu, który zostanie dołączony do wniosku, nie zostanie automatycznie zwrócony lub odesłany. Można więc użyć np. kopii dyplomu poświadczonej notarialnie, LUB skorzystać ze świadectwa ukończenia studiów, które jest do pobrania w dziekanacie po uprzednio wysłanej wiadomości e-mail na adres: deans.office@umed.lodz.pl

Ad. 3 i 4 – złożona przez Państwa karta stażu zostanie podpisana przez upoważnioną osobę i będzie gotowa do odbioru w biurze CKP wraz z zaświadczeniem o odbyciu stażu.

Decyzja z Ministerstwa Zdrowia będzie zawierała informację o uznaniu przez Ministra Zdrowia za odbyty w Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej staż podyplomowy (w całości) i otrzymają ją Państwo w formie elektronicznej na podany we wniosku adres e-mail.

Jeśli jednak potrzebują  Państwo dodatkowego uwierzytelnienia, można złożyć kolejny wniosek o Apostile ww. decyzji.

2. Zarejestruj się i ubezpiecz, gdyż posiadanie ubezpieczenia na czas wykonywania stażu jest obligatoryjne. Możliwość zakupu ubezpieczenia na nowy rok akademicki 2023/2024 będzie możliwa dopiero we wrześniu.

4. Otrzymasz skierowanie na badania lekarskie w celu stwierdzenia braku przeciwskazań do odbycia stażu w zakresie Practical Training after Medical Studies in English
5. Ze skierowaniem udaj się do lekarza (lista jednostek dostępna na stronie) i wykonaj niezbędne badania, uzyskując zaświadczenie.
6. Do Biura CKP dostarcz następujące dokumenty (osobiście lub mailem na adres: oliwia.tadeusiak@umed.lodz.pl):

– zaświadczenie lekarskie o braku przeciwskazań do odbycia stażu

– dyplom ukończenia UMed w Łodzi

7. Wypełnij i podpisz Umowę o szkolenie praktyczne w Biurze CKP.
8. Ureguluj opłatę w wysokości 30.000 zł (w ciągu 21 dni od momentu podpisania umowy) na numer konta, który wskażemy w umowie i dostarcz potwierdzenie wpłaty do Biura CKP lub mailem na adres: oliwia.tadeusiak@umed.lodz.pl
9. Otrzymasz skierowanie na staż do poszczególnych jednostek organizujących szkolenie oraz ich listę wraz z kontaktami do koordynatorów. Razem ze skierowaniem otrzymasz również Kartę Stażu, którą będziesz musiał uzupełnić OBUSTRONNIE o wpisy i zaliczenia staży cząstkowych w poszczególnych jednostkach.
10. Zgłoś się do poszczególnych jednostek wraz ze skierowaniem na staż oraz Kartą Stażu, gdzie razem z koordynatorem ustalisz terminy rozpoczęcia stażów cząstkowych w grupie dwuosobowej.

Informacje dodatkowe:

Prosimy o dobranie się w grupy dwuosobowe.

Staże powinny rozpocząć się najpóźniej w ciągu miesiąca od momentu otrzymania skierowania na staż.

Na skierowaniu powinieneś uzyskać wpis od koordynatora z datą i pieczęcią jednostki.

Jeśli potrzebujesz zaświadczenia o zakwalifikowaniu na staż, możemy takie przygotować na prośbę. Ze względu na sezon urlopowy, zaświadczenia będą wydawane od sierpnia br.

Ze względu na zapotrzebowanie wśród absolwentów, Centrum Kształcenia Podyplomowego Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Łodzi zdecydowało o realizacji kolejnej edycji 6-miesięcznego stażu dla lekarzy i lekarzy dentystów po studiach medycznych w języku angielskim od października 2023 r.

Due to the start of the 2nd edition of the internship, we invite all those qualified to the CKP office to collect referrals for medical examinations.

After delivering the certificate from the doctor along with the diploma to the CKP office, you will receive an agreement to sign and an account number to pay for the internship. After paying the fee and presenting the confirmation of the transfer, each trainee will individually be issued a referral for the internship along with a contact list for coordinators and an internship card to collect credits after completing individual partial internships.

Please, do not contact the entities but approach individual supervisors/ co-ordinators of the internship programme. Information on individual supervisors / co-ordinators of the programme at each of the unit will be provided individually to interns on 8th May at the earliest, while collecting their referrals and practical internship cards. Dear graduates of the Medical University of Lodz!

Implementation of the postgraduate internship at the Medical University of Lodz:

In accordance with the regulations, practical training lasting 6 months, corresponding to the scope of the clinical part of the postgraduate internship program, takes place in the territory of the Republic of Poland based on an agreement between a given university and a medical entity.

In other words, the 6-month practical training which may be executed at our university, can only take place in Poland and only at the graduate's home university. Only such internships will be the basis for submitting an application to the Minister of Health with a request to issue a decision on the recognition of the internship. To obtain such a decision, the doctor or dentist applies to the ministry within 3 months from the date of completion of the practical training.

Attention! Implementation of a postgraduate internship outside Poland

Any internships carried out for 6 months, but abroad or in other entities that are not home universities, are not subject to such recognition and cannot be the basis for submitting an application to the Ministry.

At the same time, we would like to inform you, based on information from the Ministry of Health, that it is possible to recognize a postgraduate internship abroad as equivalent in whole or in part to the internship in force in the Republic of Poland by the Minister of Health on the basis of a submitted application. However, in this case, the postgraduate internship period cannot be shorter than 12 months.

Therefore, graduates have the right to carry out the internship also on their own. Should that be the case, a postgraduate internship (not shorter than the aforementioned 12 months) based on the program posted on the following pages applies:

This edition of the Practical Training is intended only
for graduates from 2021 and 2022.

With the entry into force of the Act of November 16th, 2022 amending the Act on the Professions of Physician and Dentist and certain other Acts, we would like to inform you that from January 1st, 2023, people who completed, in the territory of the Republic of Poland, their Medical or Medical and Dentist Studies, in a language other than Polish, and have not completed a postgraduate internship, are entitled to enrol into a postgraduate internship (Practical Training after Medical Studies in English).

The Practical Training will lasts 6 months and must be begun within 2 years from the date of obtaining a doctor or dentist diploma. The training organized by the Medical University of Lodz is intended only for its graduates.

Remember, that the 6-month practical training referred to in the above act, takes place only in Poland on the basis of an agreement between the University and the medical entity.

9. After payment you will receive a Referral for an internship to individual units organizing the training and a listing of them along with contact details to coordinators. Together with the referral, you will also be provided with an Internship Card, which you will have to fill ON BOTH SIDES with entries and credits for completing each partial internship in the individual units.
10. Apply to the individual units, by providing the Internship Referral and the Internship Card, where together with the coordinator you will set the start dates for partial internships conducted in a two-person group. Please form the groups of two independently. Internships should start no later than one month after receiving an Internship Referral. On the referral, you should receive an entry from the coordinator with the date and stamp of the unit.

The documents referred to above may be sent by email to the following address: oliwia.tadeusiak@umed.lodz.pl along with a request to deliver the original documents to the CKP Office at a later date.

Szanowni Państwo,

W związku z rozpoczęciem 2 edycji stażu, zapraszamy wszystkich zakwalifikowanych do Biura CKP po odbiór skierowań na badania lekarskie.

Po dostarczeniu do Biura CKP zaświadczenia od lekarza wraz z dyplomem, otrzymacie Państwo umowę do podpisu i nr konta do wpłaty za staż. Po uregulowaniu opłaty i przedstawieniu potwierdzenia przelewu, każdemu stażyście indywidualnie zostanie wydane skierowanie na staż wraz z listą kontaktową do koordynatorów oraz karta stażu do zbierania zaliczeń po ukończeniu poszczególnych staży cząstkowych.

Poniżej znajduje się lista jednostek medycznych, które będą brały udział w programie stażowym dla absolwentów, którzy ukończyli studia medyczne w języku innym niż polski.

Prosimy nie kontaktować się z jednostkami a bezpośrednio z koordynatorami / opiekunami stażu. Drodzy absolwenci Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Łodzi!

Realizacja stażu podyplomowego w UM w Łodzi:

Zgodnie z przepisami, trwające 6 miesięcy szkolenie praktyczne odpowiadające zakresowi części klinicznej programu stażu podyplomowego, odbywa się na terenie Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej na podstawie umowy między daną uczelnią a podmiotem leczniczym.

Innymi słowy, 6 miesięczne szkolenie praktyczne, którego realizację umożliwia nasza uczelnia, może odbyć się tylko w Polsce i tylko na uczelni macierzystej absolwenta. Tylko taki staż będzie podstawą do złożenia wniosku do Ministra Zdrowia z prośbą o wydanie decyzji o uznaniu stażu. Aby uzyskać taką decyzję, lekarz lub lekarz dentysta występuje z wnioskiem do ministerstwa w terminie 3 miesięcy od dnia ukończenia szkolenia praktycznego.

Uwaga! Realizacja stażu podyplomowego poza Polską

Wszelkie staże realizowane w wymiarze 6 miesięcy, ale za granicą i w innych podmiotach, nie będących uczelniami macierzystymi, nie podlegają takiemu uznaniu i nie mogą być podstawą do składania wniosku do Ministerstwa.

Jednocześnie informujemy, na postawie informacji z Ministerstwa Zdrowia, że istnieje możliwość uznania stażu podyplomowego odbytego za granicą za równoważny w całości lub w części ze stażem obowiązującym w Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej przez Ministra Zdrowia na podstawie złożonego wniosku. Jednak w tym przypadku okres stażu podyplomowego nie może być krótszy niż 12 miesięcy.

W związku z tym, absolwenci mają prawo do realizacji stażu również we własnym zakresie; obowiązuje wtedy staż podyplomowy (nie krótszy niż wspomniane wcześniej 12 miesięcy) na podstawie programu zamieszczonego na poniższych stronach.

Mamy dla Was dobre wiadomości! Prosimy o uważne zapoznanie się z informacją poniżej.

Ta edycja Szkolenia Praktycznego dotyczy tylko absolwentów z 2021 i 2022 roku.

W związku z wejściem w życie ustawy z dnia 16 listopada 2022 r. o zmianie ustawy o zawodach lekarza i lekarza dentysty oraz niektórych innych ustaw, informujemy, że od dnia 1. stycznia 2023 roku osoby, które ukończyły na terytorium Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej studia na kierunku lekarskim albo lekarsko-dentystycznym, w języku innym niż język polski, i nie odbyły stażu podyplomowego, są uprawnieni do realizacji stażu podyplomowego (Practical Training after Medical Studies in English).

Szkolenie praktyczne trwa 6 miesięcy i musi się rozpocząć w terminie 2 lat od daty uzyskania dyplomu lekarza lub lekarza dentysty. Szkolenie organizowane przez Uniwersytet Medyczny w Łodzi przeznaczone jest tylko dla jego absolwentów.

Pamiętajcie, że 6-miesięczne szkolenie praktyczne, o którym wspomina powyższa ustawa, odbywa się tylko na terenie Polski na podstawie umowy między Uniwersytetem a podmiotem leczniczym.

Razem ze skierowaniem otrzymasz również Kartę Stażu, którą będziesz musiał uzupełnić OBUSTRONNIE o wpisy i zaliczenia staży cząstkowych w poszczególnych jednostkach.
10. Zgłoś się do poszczególnych jednostek wraz ze skierowaniem na staż oraz Kartą Stażu, gdzie razem z koordynatorem ustalisz terminy rozpoczęcia stażów cząstkowych w grupie dwuosobowej. Prosimy o dobranie się w grupy dwuosobowe. Staże powinny rozpocząć się najpóźniej w ciągu miesiąca od momentu otrzymania skierowania na staż. Na skierowaniu powinieneś uzyskać wpis od koordynatora z datą i pieczęcią jednostki.

since you are about to complete your practical trainings as part of post-graduate internship, below there is a summary of further steps that need to be taken as well as the list of documents to be collected at the final stage:

1. send to CKP a scan of completed and stamped internship card
2. submit to CKP your internship card together with the referral, i.e. both documents which you received prior to beginning your internship programme

Upon final verification of your internship card and after it has been acknowledged by the Rector’s Plenopotentiary for Post-graduate Education at the Medical University of Łódź, you will have three months within which you should submit your application to recognise your medical qualifications to the Ministry of Health.

In order to do so, you should:

1. complete the application to the Minister for Health Matters to recognise your medical qualifications
2. attach the verified and confirmed internship card
3. attach your diploma of completing medical studies

by the end of November 2021 we are going to close up enrolment for the first edition of the internship programme for people who began their medical studies between the years 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17 in a language other than Polish.
We are planning to implement the second edition, therefore all those who are interested – please follow the updates on our website.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

there are TWO available places on the list for the internship programme for the students who began their studies between the following academic years: 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17, and completed their medical studies in a language other than Polish. If there is still any person willing to join the programme in its first edition, they should report by November 20th the latest; joining at a later date will make it impossible to complete the programme by July 30th, 2022.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

since the end of the calendar year is approaching and that also means that the internship programme for students who began their studies at the Medical University of Łódź in the following academic years 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17, and completed their medical education in a language other than Polish no later than August 8th, 2020, is nearly half-way through, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the list of places available is shrinking quickly. Currently, there are only about 10 places for doctors and about 7 for dentists. Because this edition of the programme must absolutely end by 30th July, 2022, the last people can only be admitted no later than 15th November, 2021.
There is a high likelihood that joining the programme after this date, a person may not complete it and it has to be remembered that there is no possibility of prolonging the programme beyond 30th July, 2022.
Therefore, we urge all those who hesitate, to make a swift decision, particularly if those people are currently abroad and would need to, for instance, begin the process of obtaining a visa.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

we are pleased to announce that after some difficulties, the first edition of the internship programme for graduates who completed their medical studies in a language other than Polish has begun and the first interns have already started their internships.

The programme has been designed for 24 weeks and should be completed by 30th July, 2022.

Please, do not contact the entities but approach individual supervisors / co-ordinators of the internship programme. it is with great pleasure that we can announce that the long-expected internship programme prepared by the Medical University is about to commence. The delay which resulted from the prolonged tender procedure will not in any way affect the possibility of timely implementation and completion of the programme by the interns by 30th July, 2022.

In the coming days we will publish the list of medical entities in which it will be possible to complete the internship programme and every person who has already signed their agreement with the Medical University will receive individual invitation to collect their referral to medical entities.

Frequently asked questions regarding the internship programme

• What happens if I don’t finish the programme before August 2022?

The programme has been designed for such a length of time that should allow you to complete it.

• How can you be sure that the internship is recognised outside Poland?

This question should be addressed directly to the Department of Medical Qualifications at the Ministry of Health.

• Can I do the internship alone?

No, the internship can only be done in pairs, so you will need a partner.

• Can I do the internship with two other interns?

No, the internship can only be done in pairs.

• Can I make a payment in Euros?

No, the payment can only be made in Polish zlotys.

• Can I choose a partner to do my internship with?

Yes, of course.

• The Agreement does not mention the EU Directive related to internship programmes – why?

The reason why there is no mention of the EU Directive in the content of the Agreement is the fact that it is drawn on the basis of Polish law and Polish Acts.

• Does everyone have to start their internship programme on the same day?

No, there is no need for everyone to begin on the same day.

• Who is responsible for preparing a schedule of the internship programme at medical entities?

Every medical entity has a co-ordinator who is in charge of the schedule and they will inform you directly about it at the beginning of the internship programme on site.

• Can I change the day of the beginning of the partial internship at a given medical entity?

You should contact the co-ordinator of the internship programme directly at a medical entity. CKP is not involved in preparing individual time-tables for the interns.

• Is the 6-month internship programme for the foreign students of medicine the equivalent of the 12-month internship programme for the Polish graduates?

Yes, it is.

• How much time do I have between signing the Agreement for the internship programme and making the payment?

After signing the Agreement an intern has two weeks (fourteen days) to make a payment for the internship.

• Does CKP issue a certificate for the bank if I need it?

Yes, such a certificate can be issued.

• Is the 6-month internship a completion or continuation of the one-year practical training on the basis of parts of practical training already completed during studies in our last year of medical school?

No, it is not. This internship programme is a seperate non-obligatory training, independent of the practical training in the last year of medical studies which is obligatory for all medical students.

• Could CKP issue a certificate confirming that I am entitled to undergo an internship programme so that I could present it to the authorities in order to prolong my visa?

Yes, CKP can issue such a certificate.

Due to numerous inquiries from the interns, CKP would like to kindly inform that the approximate dates of launching the internship programme will be provided in the last week of July.

Due to the holiday season and the on-going tender procedures related to the post-graduate internship programme for the English-speaking students, we would like to kindly inform that the programme will start at the end of July 2021 the earliest.

Prior to the beginning of the internship, every intern will, via e-mail, receive their  internship card and a referral to commence their internship.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Next week you are kindly invited to visit our office in Narutowicza 60 in order to sign agreement regarding the internship programme on the following days: 22nd, 23rd and 24th June between 8am and 1pm.

Due to the launching process of the internships at medical entities, the Medical University of Łódź commits its interns to the following:

• follow the principles of ethics and professional secrecy; follow the regulations and other rules to be followed at medical entities,
• follow the health and safety regulations, fire and sanitary regulations, incluging the principles of sanitary regime to be followed in the event of epidemic emergency or the state of epidemic,
• have on them and present up-to-date medical examinations and the necessary vaccinations, including those against COVID-19,
• follow the principles and procedures to be followed at a medical entity, particularly those regarding personal data protection.

On 9th June (Wed), 15th June (Tue), 16ht June (Wed) between 8am – 1pm we would like to invite all interns entitled to undergo the internship programme in the first edition, to visit our CKP office in Narutowicza 60 in order to sign the agreements regarding beginning their internship.
Please, have with you the following documents:
– insurance policy
– current medical examination
– diploma of graduation from MUL
These documents are necessary in order to sign the agreement.

Meeting on May 20, 2021

Ladies and Gentlemen,

during a meeting on May 20th, 2021, with the representatives of the interns at the CKP UM in Łódź with prof E. Balcerczak, the Plenipotentiary of the Rector of the Medical University of Łódź and the Head of CKP, Ms K. Marat-Murgrabia, the following questions were asked:

Technical questions:

1. I am curious to know whether the newly proposed 6-month internship and the certificate which is awarded after the completion of internship are accepted or can be verified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Graduates (ECFMG)? Because it is the only international organization that verifies documents or certificates and recognized internships or practices have been made internationally.

CKP: Having completed internship at the Medical University of Łódź, you will be issued a document certifying its completion. Within 3 three months of completing the internship, you should apply to the Ministry of Health with an inquiry to issue a decision (provided all the requirements are met) that would confirm that your post-graduate internship has been completed.

The decision of the Ministry of Health means that you have fulfilled the requirement to complete a post-graduate internship and it is also necessary in proceedings enabling you to receive a licence to work as a doctor or a dentist, following passing the exam.

Having a licence to work grants you the right to begin a specialist training and residency.

The decision issued by the Ministry of Health is a document providing you with the licence and NOT a certificate issued by the Medical University.

All of the received licences should be respected by the UE countries as the path of education in these countries is unified.

Any inquiries on whether or not the decision will be a sufficient document and whether it will be verified by ECFMG should be directed to the Ministry of Health as they are the body responsible for this legal provision.

2. According to Art. 8 sec. 10 and  art. 8 sec. 1 point 1 and 2: does that mean the 6-month internship is a completion or continuation of the one-year practical training on the basis of parts of practical training already completed during studies in our last year of medical school?

CKP: It is not a continuation, it is a separate training.

3. In case of completion of a 6-month internship which is recognized as a 12-month internship, does that mean the dates that specifies the completion of the internship would be written and stated as 12-month duration internship? Because I believe Polish graduates get such a certificate upon the completion of their certificate.

CKP:Polish interns do not receive a certificate from the Medical University as they follow a different procedure supervised by the appropriate District Medical Chamber.

The certificate confirming the completion of internship issued by the Medical University of Łódź will bear a date of internship realisation (its starting and ending date).

A 6-month internship is equal to a 12-month internship for Polish students.

Requests:

1. It is an important issue to prolong the period between signing the agreement and making a payment because some banks reuire the first document with justification for making a bank transfer. It appears that there is a need for a document which would mention the payments.

CKP: The Agreement includes a provision stating that the intern will make a payment mentioned in item 1 within 7 days of signing it, by making a bank transfer to the bank account of the University. Unfortunately, we cannot change this provision, however we can issue a document confirming that you are entitled to the internship (together with the attached template of the Agreement), which we hope should be a justification sufficient enough for making a bank transfer.

Below there is a planned order of activities:

• Presenting the documents by the intern, signing the Agreement and making a payment within 7 (seven) days,

We may also accept the following order:

• Presenting the documents by the intern, obtaining the confirmation document for the bank, making a payment, signing the Agreement.

2. A document confirming that a given person works as an intern, which would enable them to apply for a residence permit or to prolong a residence permit.

CKP: A document confirming that a person is entitled to undertake an internship may be issued multiple times – this should enable you to apply for a residence permit or to prolong a residence permit. However, we do not draw a work agreement with you but only an agreement allowing you to undergo a practical internship.

Additionally, on completing all formalities and beginning your internship, you will be issued a referral for the internship which you also may present to the authorities when needed.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Due to the number of people that exceeded any expectations, the date of launching the internship programme has been postponed as it is necessary to organise and hold a tender (which is required by the Polish law). The tender procedures (which are organised by the Public Procurement Office of the Medical University of Łódź, which is a separate entity) have already begun and will be completed in the last week of June. This will result in CKP immediately signing agreements with medical facilities and also informing all of the interested interns about the deadline to present any necessary documents.

A certificate confirming no contraindications to undergo internship in Practical Training after Medical Studies in English may be obtained at any medical facility which employs an occupational medicine specialist. Remember the following

1. get insured prior to beginning your internship.
2. write to us should you require a certificate when applying for a visa or for border crossing. State your name and surname, date of birth, information on whether you are a doctor (L) or a dentist (LD). Your certificate will be e-mailed to you.
3. Make an appointment with an occupational medicine specialist in order to obtain a certificate confirming no contraindications to undergo an internship in Practical Training after Medical Studies in English.

• How will the person enrolled on a course receive their referral?

Referrals will be issued to those who have completed all the formalities. There will also be information on our website and a personal e-mail sent as to how they can be collected.

• Whom is the internship aimed at?

At people who began their studies in the following academic years: 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 at the general medical or dentistry faculty in a language other than Polish and have not yet done their post-graduate internship.

• May I do the internship if I began my studies at a University other than the Medical University of Łódź?

Only those who began and completed their studies at the Medical University of Łódź at the general medicine or dentistry facylty are eligible for the internship.

• Is 23000 PLN the final price for the internship?

Yes, it is.

Can people who did not complete education at the Medical Universoty of łódź enroll?

No, they cannot.

• What is the registration procedure?

We will inform about enrollment procedures in e-mails sent to @stud.umed.lodz.pl addresses. Individual internship enrollment should be agreed upon together with the internship supervisor.

• What will determine the order of enrollment?

Dentists will be the first ones to Begin their internship. Those who will sign the agreement, make the payment and show their examination as well as insurance will receive their referrals.

• Is the internship fee to be paid in full or in installments?

Internship fee is to be paid in full prior to the beginning of the internship.

• Is there a possibility of paying the fee in installments?

No, there isn’t.

• Is insurance mandatory?

Yes, it is and you will also be provided with the link to the website with special internship insurance.

• Is insurance the necessary condition to begin the internship?

Yes, it is and it must be valid throughout the internship.

1. By the Rector’s Order of March 10^th, 20, No 21/2021 on introducing changes into the content of the Regulations on post-graduate education at the Medical University of Łódź and the uniform text of those Regulations, a practical training was established.
2. The cost of the training was set at 23 000 PLN by the Rector’s Order of 10th March, 2021, No 23/2021 on the fee for the practical training corresponding to the scope of clinical part of post-graduate internship for people who began their studies at the Medical University of Łódź in the following academic years: 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 at the general medicine or dentistry faculty in a language other than Polish.
3. A dedicated insurance policy has been prepared for you. Based on the content of the agreement, the interns are obliged to be covered by a special insurance.

ATTENTION!  

• The first group to begin their practical training includes people who have received the title of a dentist.
• Designated people will be informed about further steps via e-mail sent to @stud.umed.lodz.pl addresses.

The order of the internship procedure.

1. Signing the agreement.
2. Making a payment to the bank account indicated in the agreement.
3. Taking out an insurance policy which is to be shown prior to the beginning of the internship.
4. Referral to the internship .
5. Agreeing with the internship supervisor on the date of beginning the internship (the internship groups comprise of two people).

Having completed the internship ”Practical training after medical studies in English” and after passing the exam for a medical doctor / dentist, you are entitled to apply for the licence to practise.

Having the licence to practise entitles you to begin specialist training and residency.

Order of activities:

1. complete a 6-month long specialist training,
2. within 3 months of completing the practical training, apply to the Ministry of Health with a request to issue their decision,
3. the minister competent for the matters of health acknowledges (on fulfilling the requirements) and decides that the post-graduate internship has been completed,
4. the decision made by the Ministry of Health is equivalent to meeting the requirement to complete the post-graduate internship and is necessary in applying for the licence to practise as a medical doctor or a dentist.

The Medical University of Lodz announces that it is preparing to organize postgraduate practical training for students studying in a foreign language.

For now, due to the epidemiological situation, we are unable to assess when the training may begin. We will keep you informed about that. Securing safe conditions in the implementation of the training for all of the trainees is the major priority.

Po ostatecznej weryfikacji karty szkolenia praktycznego oraz zaliczeniu przez Pełnomocnika Rektora ds. Kształcenia Podyplomowego, mają Państwo trzy miesiące od zakończenia szkolenia na złożenie w Ministerstwie Zdrowia wniosku o uznanie kwalifikacji medycznych.

W tym celu należy:

1. wypełnić wniosek do Ministra ds. Zdrowia z podaniem o uznanie kwalifikacji,

2. dołączyć do niego potwierdzoną kartę odbytego szkolenia praktycznego,

3. dołączyć dyplom ukończenia jednolitych studiów medycznych.

z uwagi na powoli nadchodzący koniec roku kalendarzowego, a tym samym niemal półmetek programu stażowego dla studentów, którzy rozpoczęli w latach 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17 i ukończyli studia medyczne przed 08.08.2020 w języku innym niż polski, pragniemy zwrócić uwagę tych z Państwa, którzy nadal rozważają przystąpienie do programu, że lista wolnych miejsc szybko się kurczy. Obecnie pozostało ok. 10 miejsc w programie dla lekarzy i ok. 7 miejsc dla lekarzy-dentystów. Ponieważ ta edycja programu musi bezwzględnie zakończyć się 30.07.2022 r., ostatnich chętnych możemy dołączyć nie później niż 15.11. 2021 r.
Dołączając do programu po tym terminie, istnieje wysokie ryzyko nieukończenia go, przy czym nie istnieje możliwość przedłużenia programu poza 30.07.2022 r.

Każda z jednostek medycznych ma koordynatora odpowiedzialnego za przygotowanie planu, o którym stażyści zostaną poinformowani na miejscu na początku stażu.

• Czy mogę zmienić dzień rozpoczęcia stażu cząstkowego w danej jednostce medycznej?

Należy się skontaktować bezpośrednio z koordynatorem programu w danej jednostce medycznej. CKP nie bierze udziału za przygotowywanie indywidualnych rozkładów dla stażystów.

• Czy 6-miesięczny program stażowy dla zagranicznych studentów medycyny jest równoważny z 12-miesięcnzym programem stażowym dla studentów polskich?

Tak.

• Ile mam czasu od podpisania umowy na program stażowy do wykonania płatności?

Po podpisaniu umowy, stażysta ma dwa tygodnie (czternaście dni) na dokonanie płatności za program stażowy.

• Czy CKP może wystawić zaświadczenie dla banku, jeśli będzie mi ono potrzebne?

Tak, można wystawić takie zaświadczenie.

• Czy 6-miesięczny staż jest uzupełnieniem czy kontynuacją rocznego szkolenia praktycznego na podstawie cząstkowego stażu wykonanego podczas studiów medycznych na ostatnim roku?

Nie, nie jest. Ten program stażowy jest odrębnym nieobowiązkowym szkoleniem, niezależnym od szkolenia praktycznego na ostatnim roku studiów medycznych, który jest obowiązkowy dla wszystkich studentów.

• Czy CKP może wydać zaświadczenie potwierdzające, że jestem uprawniony do podjęcia programu stażowego aby przedłożyć go w urzędzie w celu przedłużenia wizy?

Tak, CKP może wydać takie zaświadczenie.

Z uwagi na liczne zapytania ze strony stażystów, CKP uprzejmie informuje, że w ostatnim tygodniu lipca podane będą przybliżone daty rozpoczęcia programu stażowego.

W związku z trwającym sezonem urlopowym oraz toczącą się procedurą przetargową dotyczącą staży podyplomowych dla studentów anglojęzycznych, informujemy, że rozpoczną się one najwcześniej z końcem lipca 2021r.

Przed rozpoczęciem stażu, każdy stażysta otrzyma drogą mailową kartę stażu oraz skierowanie do rozpoczęcia stażu.

Szanowni Państwo,

W następnym tygodniu zapraszamy do biura przy ul. Narutowicza 60 w celu podpisania umów dot. stażu podyplomowego w dniach  22., 23. I 24.06. w godzinach 8:00-13:00.

W związku z realizacją staży w podmiotach leczniczych Uniwersytet Medyczny zobowiązuje stażystów m.in. do:

• przestrzegania zasad etyki i tajemnicy zawodowej; regulaminów i innych zasad obowiązujących w Podmiocie leczniczym,
• przestrzegania obowiązujących w Podmiocie leczniczym przepisów porządkowych, BHP, przeciwpożarowych oraz sanitarnych, w tym zasad reżimu sanitarnego obowiązujących w przypadku ogłoszenia stanu zagrożenia epidemicznego lub stanu epidemii,
• posiadania i okazywania aktualnych badań lekarskich oraz niezbędnych szczepień, w tym tych przeciwko COVID-19
• przestrzegania zasad i procedur obowiązujących w Podmiocie leczniczym, w szczególności w zakresie ochrony danych osobowych.

Podczas spotkania 20 maja 2021r. reprezentantów stażystów w CKP UM w Łodzi z Pełnomocnikiem Rektora UM w Łodzi Prof. E. Balcerczak oraz Kierownikiem CKP K. Marat-Murgrabia padły następujące zapytania:

Pytania techniczne:

1. Jestem ciekaw, czy nowo zaproponowany 6-miesięczny staż i certyfikat, który jest przyznawany po zakończeniu stażu są akceptowane lub mogą być zweryfikowane przez Komisję Edukacyjną dla absolwentów zagranicznych (ECFMG)? Ponieważ jest to jedyna międzynarodowa organizacja, która weryfikuje dokumenty lub certyfikaty, a uznane staże lub praktyki zostały wykonane na arenie międzynarodowej.

CKP: Po zrealizowanym stażu UM w Łodzi wystawi dokument zaświadczający jego zrealizowanie. W terminie 3 miesięcy od dnia ukończenia szkolenia praktycznego należy wystąpić z wnioskiem do Ministerstwa Zdrowia o wydanie decyzji. Minister właściwy do spraw zdrowia uznaje (po spełnieniu warunków) w drodze decyzji, staż podyplomowy za odbyty.

Decyzja Ministerstwa Zdrowia jest równoważna ze spełnieniem wymogu odbycia stażu podyplomowego i jest niezbędna w postępowaniu o uzyskanie prawa wykonywania zawodu lekarza albo lekarza dentysty po uprzednim złożeniu egzaminu z wynikiem pozytywnym.

Posiadanie Prawa Wykonywania Zawodu uprawnia do rozpoczęcia szkolenia specjalizacyjnego i rezydentury.

Decyzja MZ jest dokumentem uprawniającym nie dokument zaświadczający wydane przez uczelnię.

Otrzymane uprawnienia powinny być honorowane w krajach Unii Europejskiej, gdyż droga kształcenia w tych krajach jest ujednolicona.

Zapytanie dotyczące tego czy decyzja będzie wystarczającym dokumentem i czy będzie weryfikowana przez ECFMG powinno zostać skierowane przez osoby zainteresowane i trafić do Ministerstwa Zdrowia jako autora tego przepisu.

2. Zgodnie z art. 8 sek. 10 i art. 8 sek. 1 pkt 1 i 2: czy oznacza to, że sześciomiesięczny staż jest uzupełnieniem lub kontynuacją rocznej praktyki praktycznej na podstawie części praktycznej odbywającej się już na studiach na ostatnim roku studiów medycznych?

CKP: Nie jest, kontynuacją jest osobnym szkoleniem.

3. W przypadku ukończenia 6-miesięcznego stażu, który jest uznawany za 12-miesięczny staż, czy oznacza to, że daty, które określają zakończenie stażu, będą pisemne i określone jako 12-miesięczny staż? Bo wierzę, że polscy absolwenci dostają taki certyfikat po ukończeniu świadectwa.

CKP: Polscy stażyści nie otrzymują od uczelni zaświadczenia- obowiązuję inna procedura, którą nadzoruje odpowiednia Okręgowa Izba Lekarska.

Na dokumencie zaświadczającym wydanym przez UM w Łodzi będzie określona data realizacji stażu (podjęcia i zakończenia).

6- miesięczny staż praktyczny jest równoważny 12 miesięcznemu stażu dla polskich studentów.

Prośby:

1. Ważnym wnioskiem jest przedłużenie okresu między podpisaniem umowy a dokonaniem płatności, ponieważ niektóre banki potrzebują pierwszego dokumentu z uzasadnieniem przelewu, aby je zainicjować. Więc tutaj również dokument, który wspomina o opłatach jest również potrzebne.

CKP: W treści umowy zawarto zapis: Stażysta wniesie opłatę, o której mowa w ust. 1, w terminie 7 dni od dnia zawarcia umowy, przelewem na rachunek bankowy Uniwersytetu. Niestety nie możemy odstąpić od tego warunku, możemy jednak wystawić Państwu dokument uzasadniający, że jesteście uprawnieni do podjęcia szkolenia (wraz załączonym wzorem umowy) co jak sądzimy będzie wystraczającym uzasadnieniem przelewu dla banku.

Zaplanowana kolejność działań:

• przedstawienie dokumentów przez osobę, podpisanie umowy, opłata do 7 dni,

Możemy dopuścić kolejność:

• przedstawienie dokumentów przez osobę, dokument uzasadniający do banku, opłata, podpisanie umowy.

2. Zaświadczenie, że dana osoba pracuje jako stażysta w celu ubiegania się o zezwolenie na pobyt / przedłużenie pobytu

CKP: Zaświadczenie- że osoba jest uprawniona do podjęcia szkolenia- możemy wystawić wielokrotnie, co umożliwi Państwu ubieganie się o przedłużenie pobytu. Nie zawieramy jednak z Państwem umowy o pracę, jedynie umowę o realizacji stażu praktycznego, która możecie się Państwo okazywać.

Dodatkowo po dopełnieniu formalności i rozpoczęciu stażu otrzymacie Państwo skierowanie na staż, którym również możecie się okazywać w razie takiej potrzeby.

Szanowni Państwo,

Z uwagi na ilość osób, która przerosła oczekiwania, data rozpoczęcia programu stażowego została przełożona, z uwagi na konieczność zorganizowania i przeprowadzenia przetargu (co jest wymagane prawem polskim). Procedury przetargowe (organizowane przez Biuro Realizacji Zamówień Publicznych UMed, które jest odrębną jednostką) już zostały wszczęte i zostaną zakończone w ostatnim tygodniu czerwca. Natychmiast po ich zakończeniu CKP podpisze umowy z podmiotami medycznymi I jednocześnie poinformuje stażystów o terminie złożenia niezbędnych dokumentów.

4. decyzja Ministerstwa Zdrowia jest równoważna ze spełnieniem wymogu odbycia stażu podyplomowego i jest niezbędna w postępowaniu o uzyskanie prawa wykonywania zawodu lekarza albo lekarza dentysty.

w związku z wejściem w życie 8 sierpnia 2020 roku ustawy z dnia 16 lipca 2020 roku o zmianie ustawy o zawodach lekarza i lekarza dentysty oraz niektórych innych ustaw i przepisem

Art. 8 regulującym, że za organizację szkolenia praktycznego, odpowiada uczelnia medyczna, w której osoba odbywająca szkolenie ukończyła studia na kierunku lekarskim albo lekarsko-dentystycznym,

Uniwersytet Medyczny w Łodzi informuje, że przygotowuje się do organizacji podyplomowego szkolenia praktycznego dla studentów studiujących w języku obcym.

Na chwilę obecną w związku z sytuacją epidemiczną nie jesteśmy w stanie określić, kiedy szkolenie takie będzie mogło się rozpocząć. Będziemy o tym informować. Priorytetem jest zapewnienie stażystom bezpiecznych warunków realizacji tego szkolenia.
